The LP9002DC dual-channel PCI host bus adapter offers two independent 2Gbps fiber channel HBA interfaces in a single PCI slot. It delivers exceptional performance through the use of two Emulex Centaur ASICs, two onboard processors, high-speed buffer memory and a high-performance PCI bridge. The LP9002DC features automatic speed negotiation capability, which allows complete compatibility with existing 1Gbps fiber-channel SANs, while allowing seamless upgrades to higher-speed 2Gbps SANs. The LP9002DC's architecture provides the flexibility and broad interoperability needed for complex, highly scalable SANs. The LP9002DC provides a combination of features, including switched fabric support, full-duplex data transfers, high data integrity features, and support for all fiber channel topologies. The LP9002DC also features sophisticated hardware that provides superior performance in SANs, delivering low latency and high throughput in switched fabric, arbitrated loop and clustered environments. This product is tested for compatibility and interoperability with EMC NAS environment.
